摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a recording position of a 2nd storage medium according to the measuring time and to shorten the adjusting time by using the time (measuring time) measuring before a reference signal is read out of a 1st storage medium as the correction value that is used for adjusting the writing position of the 2nd storage medium. SOLUTION: A pulling over the kerb part of a carrier medium is actuated by a control part 40 and draws in a passbook 1 serving as a 2nd storage medium. When the passbook 1 is stopped at its writing position, a writing state is set by a write enabling signal and a recording unit of a data recorder 11 starts its operation. A clock sensor starts to count the number of slits of a slit plate 29 when a head carrier 21 is set at an HP position. When the count value of the clock sensor is equal to the number of write starting pulses (the number of pulses obtained by adding the correction value to a write starting reference pulse), the writing of the magnetic data is started. Then a rear margin position is detected and a head carrier 21 stops. As a result, a recording position of the ordinary passbook 1 serving as the 2nd storage medium is automatically adjusted.
