<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart wear resistance to a roll member and to prevent the generation of paper wrinkling by providing the roll member with a silicone rubber layer containing a specific metal compound and inorganic fine powder as a surface layer. SOLUTION: Each of the fixing roller and pressurizing roller comprises a lower layer 400 consisting of HTV(high temperature vulcanization type) silicone rubber on an arbor 200 made of aluminum, an intermediate layer 500 consisting of fuororubber for prevention of oil infiltration on the outer side thereof and further the surface layer 100 consisting of LTV(low temperature vulcanization type) or RTV(room temperature vulcanization type) silicone rubber having a good fit to silicone oil of a release agent on the outer side thereof. The roll has the silicone rubber layer containing the metal compound MmXn and the inorganic fine powder as the surface layer 100. In such a case, M is the cation selected from Al, Sc, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn and Ga; X is the anion selected from halogen, inorganic acid and organic acid and m and n are m×M valence = n×X valence in positive integer.</p> |
