IMMOBILISATION MATRICES CONSISTING OF LIGNOCELLULOSE MATERIAL AND USE THEREOF

The invention relates to a bioreactor with immobilised micro-organisms and to the use of this bioreactor. In particular, the invention relates to a bioreactor with micro-organisms which are immobilised on particles that are composed of a natural lignocellulose material. This material is derivatized and therefore has anion exchange properties. Preferred lignocellulose materials are coconut shells and wood. The derivatization is preferably carried out using diethylaminoethylchloride. The inventive bioreactor is suitable for producing products that originate from the metabolism of lactic acid bacteria and/or for modifying the composition of the incoming flow, for producing alcoholic beverages and essentially non-alcoholic beer.
