PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly carry out a chamfering R of both sides edge surfaces of a metal strip with no distribution by forming a concave portion roll in which a processing portion of an outer periphery is a concave portion and a convex portion in which a processing portion of an outer periphery surface is a convex portion. SOLUTION: Two positions at both ends of a concave portion 101 of a single concave roll 10 at an outer periphery processing surface are made to a form of a concave portion roll entering corner 14 coincident with a chamfering R of a metal stripe. Whereas, convex portion roll out corners 15 are provided on two positions at both ends of a convex portion 11-1 of a single convex portion roll 11 at an outer periphery processing surface. When a material metal plate 1 is fed between the single concave portion roll 10 at the outer periphery processing surface and the single convex portion roll 11 at the outer periphery processing surface and a crude metal stripe is cut out, a slit burr generated at an edge surface of the crude metal stripe can be efficiently removed and a filling property of the metal material can be enhanced at the time of a roll rolling pressure work. Therefore, the convex portion roll out corner 15 is formed to an out corner shape projected to a chamfering R side of the metal stripe with a sharp angle.
