PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus of an ink jet system which forms ink drops to hit a recording medium nearly in a true circle. SOLUTION: A discharge direction D of ink discharged from four printing heads 20K, 20C, 20M and 20Y is inclined by an angleθ(approximately 4 deg.) to a perpendicular direction E perpendicular to a recording medium 12. An inclination of ink drops caused by a movement speed V=705.6 mm/sec of each printing head 20K, 20C, 20M, 20Y is negated. Ink drops hit a surface of the recording medium 12 from a nearly perpendicular direction nearly perpendicular to the surface.
