PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items and reduce the cost by dividing a regulator housing for an injection pressure regulator into a housing body partitioning a fuel chamber and a cover body partitioning a pressure regulating chamber, and integrally molding the housing body with a fuel feed pipe. SOLUTION: A single cylinder engine for a small-size motorcycle has a solenoid type fuel injection valve 5 mounted on a suction pipe 3, and a fuel feed pipe 8 is attached to the upper end of the fuel injection valve 5. A connecting port 15 is provided in one end of the fuel feed pipe 8 and a fuel conduit 17 is connected thereto via a joint 18, while an injection pressure regulator 19 is provided in the other end of the fuel feed pipe 8. The injection pressure regulator 19 is provided with a regulator housing 20 comprising a housing body 21 and a cover body 22, however, the fuel feed pipe 8, the housing body 21, a valve seat member support boss, and a fuel return pipe 32 are integrally molded then. This constitution can reduce the number of components of the fuel injector and reduce the cost. |
