PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tree, etc., crushing machine provided with a hopper for a storage type shredder and/or a hopper for a chipper, having good usability, which is divided at proper locations to make it possible to store the forward end side thereof and, in which when the hopper is stored, an opening of the hopper can be covered with a safety guard. SOLUTION: In a hopper 8 for a shredder and/or a hopper 9 for a chipper of a crushing device including a shredder for crushing fed branches and leaves and/or chipper for cutting and crushing fed branches and leaves and a blower for discharging fragments crushed by the shredder or the chipper to the outside, a feed rollers 64, 65, a proximal end part 20, a part 21, which can be stored, and a storage safety guard 22 are provided. The guard 22 stores the part 21 so as to cover the opening of the proximal end part 20, and when the part 21 is operated, the guard 22 stores the hopper 8 for a shredder and/or the hopper 9 for a chipper to the outside.
