PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pre-treating agent for getting a sharp and high quality image without a bleeding and soiling on its white part on printing with an ink jet recording, and a cloth for printing with the ink jet recording, having a waterproof endurance and obtained by coating the above agent. SOLUTION: This pre-treating agent for an ink jet recording contains and a graft copolymer of 0.5-50 wt.% macromonomer obtained by polymerizing an olefin with 0.5-80 wt.% N-vinylacetamide and 0.5-99 wt.% at least one kind of a monomer containing an unsaturated group selected from a (meth) acrylamide, (meth)acrylic acid ester, epoxy(meth)acrylic acid, vinyl compound and urethane(meth)acrylic acid. The cloth for a printing with the ink jet recording has an ink-receiving layer prepared by coating the pre-treating agent on the printing cloth. |
