PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut single crystal while completely fixing around of the peripheral surface of the inclined conical part easy to slip. SOLUTION: A part of the conical part 2 close to a cutting part C is wound by wires 13, 14 and the wires 13, 14 are connected and tightly bound to each other so that a force is added to the inward direction of the radius of the conical part 2 through plural carbon chips 20 which are previously fixed as fixing members on the surface of the conical part 2. Slipping down of the wires 13, 14 from the surface of the conical part 2 is prevented by this constitution. The position of the wire 14 is restricted so as not to move to either of the axis directions by a supporting member 16 and a stopper 18. The tip part of the conical part 2 is supported by a supporting member 19 so as not to fall down, after completely cutting. The supporting member 16, the stopper 18 and the supporting member 19 are fixed to a pedestal 17.
