PRODUCTION OF ANTISTATIC POLYESTER FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing high-quality antistatic polyester fibers containing an antistatic substance. SOLUTION: A spinneret pack is composed of three parts of at least an inflow part for a polymer, a straightening part and a spinneret part and a perforated plate 3 having 30-300 polymer passage holes 9 bored therein is arranged in the straightening part. The polymer passage holes 9 have a structure having a constricted part and the following formulae (1) to (3) are simultaneously satisfied when melt spinning a polyester containing >=0.2 and <=5 wt.% of an antistatic substance with the spinneret pack. formula (1): G (T)<=7%, formula (2): 1<=V/Q<=5 and formula (3): P>=7 MPa [G (T) denotes the heating loss ratio of the anstistatic substance at T deg.C measured by a differential thermal analysis(DTA) when the spinning temperature is T deg.C; V denotes the polymer channel volume in the spinneret pack; Q denotes the polymer throughput per min; P denotes the pressure in the spinneret pack].
