PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for an electron beam image forming device and its manufacturing method, capable of surely bonding constituting members of an electrode with no gap and reducing production man-hour and production cost. SOLUTION: This electrode 10 is made of an electric insulating material and has a ring-shaped insulating member 20 having a through hole 21 in the center. An end surface on the base end side of a plurality of electrode pieces 30 is bonded to one end surface of the insulating member 20 with an adhesive or a brazing material, and the tips of the electrode pieces 30 are projected in a projecting space of the through hole 21 so as to face each other. A metal supporting member 40 is bonded to the other end surface of the insulating member 20 similarly with the adhesive or the brazing material.
