The invention relates to an arrangement for fixing shelves on a wall surface or the like for storing various items and articles. Said arrangement consists of a profiled body which can be mounted on a wall or can be inserted between the floor and the ceiling, said profiled body being provided with carriers, for receiving supporting elements of a shelf. The aim of the invention is to provide an arrangement with which it is possible to produce highly diverse shelves that can be securely and firmly fixed and easily mounted and dismounted with the least complexity of manufacture possible. To this end, the profiled body (1) has parallel limbs (2, 3) which are linked by a base (4). Said profiled body (1) has slot-like recesses (8) in the direction transversal to its longitudinal axis. Said recesses extend across the limbs (2, 3) and the base (4) at a substantially constant width of the slots and receive the edge of a shelf. A substantially U-shaped connector (9) is placed on the edge of the shelf and is optionally fixed on the shelf so that the shelf and the connector (9) can be inserted in the slot-like recess (8) and is releasably linked with the edge (16) of the slot-like recess in the area of the base (4) of the profiled body (1). |
