<p>A receiver (10) comprises input means for receiving a signal (r(t)) of a first domain. Processor means (14) are provided for applying a transform function to the received signal to a second domain. A first extractor arrangement (16) extracts first type of information from the signal in the second domain. A plurality of processor means, (34, 36) each of which is arranged to receive a plurality of information portions, apply said transform function thereto and provide a transformed output. A second extractor arrangement (38, 40) extracts a second, different type of information from the output of each of said plurality of processor means. Compensation circuitry compensates the received signal using one of the second type of information extracted.</p> |
