The wind turbine is driven by an air current and has a vertical shaft (1) with two radial arms (2,2a). Each arm has at least two support members (5,6) fixed to each other by bars. Each support member is formed with a bolt (7,8), and around these bolts a sail (3) is pivotably arranged parallel to the shaft (1). Each sail (3) is fitted as a rectangular frame, filled out with appropriate sail material. Each sail has two support arms (9,10) fixed horizontally on the front edge (12) of the sail and arranged inclined to the sail surface. The one support arm (9) is connected with another rotary arm (11) and on it a pin is vertically fixed, being located between two spring legs.
