PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in dispersion stability and redispersibility, with no limitations of its formulation and use by including a specific surfactant, organosilsesquioxane resin microparticles, and water. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by including (A) 0.1-50 wt.%, pref. 0.1-10 wt.%, of an aliphatic alkanolamide nonionic surfactant, (B) 1-80 wt.% of organosesquioxane resin microparticles, and (C) 0.1-98.9 wt.% of water; wherein the component A is pref. a condensate from (i) an alkanolamine (pref. diethanolamine or the like) and (ii) a fatty acid (pref. coconut oil, palm kernel oil or the like) in the weight ratio of 1:1, a condensate from the components i and ii in the weight ratio of 2:1, etc., and the component B is pref. spherical in the shape of each of the microparticles, more pref. being monodisperse in particle size.
