PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transfer belt from moving biasedly with a simple structure and at low cost. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a driving roller 115 and driven rollers 116, 117, 118 with a transfer belt 114 tensed tightly around them to rotate the transfer belt 114 in the arrowhead direction at a speed of V2 by means of the friction between the outer periphery surface of the driving roller 115 and the inner periphery surface of the transfer belt 114. Both end parts on the inner periphery surface of the transfer belt 114 are formed with surfaces (a), (c) having a high coefficient of friction, and a surface (b) having a low coefficient of friction is formed at the central part. For example, if the transfer belt 114 biasedly moves, being dislocated in the plus (+) direction, the contact area of the outer periphery surface of the driving roller 115 with the surface (c) having a high coefficient of friction becomes larger that with the surface (a) having a high coefficient of friction; thus a force restoring the transfer belt 114 to the minus (-) side acts upon it. |
