PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items for sealing the connection parts of a torsion bar and an input shaft, and the number of assembling manhours, and to prevent the breakage of the torsion bar due to torsional stress, and the quenching crack of the torsion bar after quenching treatment. SOLUTION: One end 5b of a torsion bar 5 axially connected to an input shaft 1 is provided with ring curved grooves 51 curved in a recessed shape over a first and a second position a, b appropriately spaced apart in the shaft length direction. Thus, torsional stress encountered in the curved grooves 52 is reduced to avoid the breakage of one end of the torsion bar 5.
