PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately retrieve a specified ultrasonic image from an image storage means and to display it. SOLUTION: In this ultrasonograph for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves to/from the inside of an examinee body by using a probe 1, gathering echo signals by waves reflected on a diagnostic part, obtaining the ultrasonic images of the diagnostic part and displaying them at an image display part 6 and provided with means 4 and 7 for displaying the various kinds of marks at the time of gathering the ultrasonic images and the image storage means 4 and 9 for storing the plural ultrasonic images, the means 10, 11 and 12 for retrieving the specified ultrasonic image from the image storage means 4 and 9 by using the various kinds of the marks displayed in the means 4 and 7 for displaying the various kinds of the marks and displaying it are provided. Thus, the specified ultrasonic image is easily and accurately retrieved from the image storage means 4 and 9 and displayed.
