PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unitized building which prevents a partitioning wall from being thickened, and is equalized in rigidity of the entire building, and to provide a method for assembling the unitized building. SOLUTION: There are provided standard columns 41A each isolatedly arranged at a projected corner 1A of a unitized building 1, and small cross-sectional columns 41B to 41D each having a smaller cross section than that of the standard column 41A. When these small cross-sectional columns are bound to each other, the entire peripheral dimension thereof is almost the same as that of the standard column 41A. Each of the gathered small cross-sectional columns 41B to 41D is smaller in cross section than the single standard column 41A, and therefore the rigidity of the gathered small cross-sectional columns is smaller than the rigidity of the plurality of standard columns 41A which are gathered and bound to each other, so that the rigidity of the small cross-sectional columns approaches the rigidity of the single standard column 41A. As a result, the balance in rigidity of the entire unitized building 1 can be achieved.
