PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a container which preserve peroxide- containing matters for a long period of time by preventing oxidizing deterioration, swelling and explosion of the container and bag-breaking arising from oxygen to be generated from the matters. SOLUTION: Matters containing peroxide, especially hydrogen peroxide, are preserved in a packaging container which is made up in a structure wherein an oxygen-absorbing multilayer formed at least of three layers comprising an oxygen-permeable layer made of oxygen permeable thermoplastic resin, an oxygen-absorptive layer made of oxygen-absorptive resin composition made up by mixing iron deoxidizer composition with thermoplastic resin, and a gas- barriering layer made of gas-barriering material is used at least at a part of a wall surface of the sealed-up container with its oxygen-permeable layer arranged at the interior side of the container. Therefore, the container is produced at low cost without being restricted in shapes while being convenient for handling and excellent in preservation.
