PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust catcher simple in construction and capable of providing a specified biting force for a fork against a vertical screen and lifting the fork smoothly. SOLUTION: A screen 2 is installed approximately is vertical direction, and a rail 3 is positioned in front of the screen 2 approximately in vertical direction. A movable roller 4 is formed along the rail 3, a rotating shaft 5 is supported by the roller 4, and the base end side of a lifting body 6 having a plurality of forks 9 is installed rotatably on the rotating shaft 5. The lifting body 6 is formed so that, with the tip side of the forks 9 engaged with the screen 2, the gravity center of the lifting body 6 is positioned ahead of the center of the rotating shaft 5. Because the gravity center of the lifting body 6 is positioned ahead of the rotating shaft 5, a rotating force occurs in such a direction that the tip of the forks 9 is engaged with the screen 2 by the self-weight of the lifting body 6. Thus, even when the screen 2 is positioned in vertical direction, a specified biting force is provided to the fork 9.
