PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a constant gap between a toner carrying member and the opening of a head unit and between the head unit and an image holding member when an image is formed by supplying toner to the opening of the head unit through the toner carrying member and ejecting the toner from the opening to the image holding member. SOLUTION: In an imaging apparatus for forming an image by supplying toner t through a toner carrying member 22 at a toner supply unit 20 to an opening 12 made in a head unit 10 and then ejecting the toner from the opening to an image holding member 30, a resiliently deformable toner carrying member is employed. The head unit is provided, on the surface facing the toner supply unit, with a first spacer 15 touching the toner carrying member to adjust the interval between them and, on the surface facing the image holding member, with a second spacer 16 touching the image holding member to adjust the interval between them. |
