PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack assembly capable of preventing concentration of a load on a connecting device and inclination of a support hard to be broken by the load. SOLUTION: This rack assembly is provided with plural supports and rack plates, and each support comprises plural tubular bodies 10 connected by engagement of connecting devices 20. In an end edge part of an inner circumferential surface of the tubular body 10, an inner diagonal surface 4 is formed, and end edges of the tubular bodies 10 to be connected to each other are butted to each other, so the inner diagonal surfaces 4 are continuous on the inner circumferential surface side to form a positioning groove 22. In addition, at a middle stage of the connecting device 20, a flange-shaped stopper 7 to be applied to an inner surface of the positioning groove 22 and contained in the positioning groove 22 is provided.
