PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an vehicle run simulation calculating method for finding the exhaust gas component from an engine in the actual vehicle run by a theoretical calculation. SOLUTION: A vehicle run simulation calculating method comprises an engine simulation step M1 with a supply fuel (Qf) as the input, an vehicle simulation step M2 with an engine torque (Qe) obtained in the M1 step as the input, a cooling system simulation step M3 with an engine speed (Ne) obtained in the M2 step as the input, and a combustion simulation step M4 with the supply fuel (Qf), the engine speed (Ne), a cylinder air intake flow rate (Vs) obtained in the M1 step, a temperature (Ts), a cylinder exhaust air flow rate (Be), a temperature (Te), and a cylinder temperature (Tcy) obtained in the M3 step as the input and the various exhaust amounts of COx, NOx, SOx, and particles in the exhaust gas (Ecox, Enox, Esox, Epat) as the output.
