PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a meaning less language from being added to the leading and the tailing at a reproducing time. SOLUTION: A series of language data inputted through an A/D converter 21 are segmented into a sound section and a silence section by a segmentation means 25, and two optional silence sections are designated for respective segmented sections from a silence section designating means 26, and the language data held between the designated silence sections are extracted by a data extraction means 27, and the extracted language data are outputted from a data output means 29 to a D/A converter 30 and reproduced.
