The internal combustion engine plenum module comprises intake manifold (10) with air cleaner module (12), plenum/runner module (14), fuel module (16) and throttle (18). The plenum runner has wall (130) located while the runner pack (132) has complete turners (162) for a cylinder bank. Also included is a set of incomplete runners (168). When the runner is joined to the plenum, walled channel (180) in the base (136) cooperating with the incomplete runner, forms complete runners (174) for the other cylinder bank. An independent claim is also included for a method of making an internal combustion engine.
