PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output circuit which can reduce its current consumption and accordingly can increase the lifetime of its battery. SOLUTION: The output terminal of a driving CMOS transistor TR 11 is connected to the gate of an output PMOSFET 12 via a resistance R11, and the source of the PMOSFET 12 is connected to a power line where the power voltage Vdd is supplied via a current detecting resistance Rs. The drain of the PMOSFET 12 is connected to the external output terminal Po of a battery pack 2. The source of the PMOSFET 12 is also connected to the gate of a current limiting PMOSFET 13, and the source of the PMOSFET 13 is connected to a power supply where the voltage Vdd is supplied. The drain of the PMOSFET 13 is connected to the gate of the PMOSFET 12.
