A PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR TREATING ANGIOCARDIOPATHY AND THE METHOD OF PRODUCING THEREOF

The composition mainly comprises polysaccharides, saponins and amino acids extracted from dried roots of Panax ginseng, tuberous root of Ophiopogon japonicus, and dried ripe fruit of Schisandra chinensis or S. phenanthera. The method includes adding water to dried roots of Panax ginseng, tuberous root of Ophiopogon japonicus, and dried ripe fruit of Schisandra chinensis or S. phenanthera, and then the mixture was decocted, the resulting water extraction was precipitated by alcohols or acetone, treated by Amberlyst and ion exchange resin, the eluate was separated to obtain the composition comprising polysaccharides, saponins and amino acids as effective component. The composition can be mixed with the pharmaceutical adjunct to formulate the various unit forms.
