摘要 <p>The invented passivation process of molybdenum heating electrodes (1, 11, 17) on a glass melting furnace heated by gas with electric additional heating is characterized in that on the heating electrodes (1, 11, 17) there are continuously carried out a check and control of current, voltage and reference voltage relative to a passivation electrode (9, 12) and to a reference electrode (R) made of inert metal, and based on the obtained data there is maintained the value of a passivation direct current within the range of 1 to 20 A.me-2. At the same time, potential of all the electrodes (1, 9, 11, 12, and 17) relative to ground is controlled in order to prevent a short circuit. Passivation process is implemented within a glass melting furnace, intended particularly for melting glasses with reducing metals, where in the basin (8) zone of maximum temperature there is installed an electric additional heating that is arranged in at least one electrically separated passivation circuit formed by a group of heating electrodes (1, 11, 17) in the center of which there is situated the passivation electrode (9, 12). Each group of the heating electrodes (1, 11, and 17) is connected to one independent power supply unit (T1, T2) of a heating alternating current, each passivation electrode (9, 12) is connected to an independent direct current supply unit. The heating electrodes of different potential are each connected to opposite side of the passivation electrode (9, 12). The additional electric heating is provided with a reference electrode (R) made of inert and electrically- conducting material for checking and controlling thickness of a protective passivation layer on the heating electrodes (1, 11, 17). The electrodes (1, 9, 11, 12, and 17) are connected to instruments for measuring potential relative to ground.</p>
