PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use built-in type air conditioners of panel specification and duct specification commonly by sharing an electric component box between them. SOLUTION: In built-in type air conditioners of panel specification and duct specification installed in the ceiling space 34 of a building where a supply duct extends from a unit body 35 containing a heat exchanger and a fan and provided with an electric component box, the electric component box 37 has an opening 55 at a position facing the outside of the unit body on the outside thereof. A ceiling panel 49 provided removably at the lower part of the unit body is extended to the position of the electric component box and a panel opening 59 closable with a panel cover 60 is made in the extended part of panel 58.
