PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and a molding machine for a molded body, by which the molded body being hard to handle can be easily delivered between two dies. SOLUTION: After molding a molded body 39 in a first die 10 comprising split dies A and B, the die is opened under a state wherein the molded body 39 is held in the split die A, and the split die A is moved to a location being confronted with a split die D of a second die 20 comprising split dies C and D, and the split die A and the split die D are closed, and the molded body 39 is fitted in them, and the held state of the molded body 39 by the split die A is released, and at the same time, the molded body 39 is held in the split die D, and then, the dies are opened, and the molded body 39 is delivered from the split die A to the split die D, and the split die D and the split die C are closed, and the molded body 39 is fitted in them, and under this die closed state, a specified secondary process is applied to the molded body 39.
