PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a die structure of long service life at a fast extrusion by finishing a male die mandrel part surface in a specific roughness first for chemically finishing TiN and TiC layers with a plasma chemical evaporation method and, further, for applying a TiAlN film treatment. SOLUTION: In an extrusion molding die structure for an aluminum or an aluminum alloy being composed of a male die 1 and a female die 2, a surface toughness of a male die mandrel 11 part is polished with an extremely thin polishing paper to be preferably 0.3-1.0μm. TiN+TiCN multiple layers coating are chemically finished on the surface with a plasma CVD and further a TiAlN film treatment is applied. In this case, under a plasma CVD, when a material surface toughness exceeds 1μm for performing a vapor phase, chemical coating, a coating film at a protruding portion causes an erosion and a crack by an aluminum flow at the extrusion molding, resulting in shortening a life span of the die. Surface roughness therefore needs to be finished in 0.3-1.0μm before applying a surface finish treatment.
