PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range requiring a reduced installation area by arranging a cooking table in upper and lower stages and employing an electromagnetic induction heating means at least in the lower stage. SOLUTION: A cooking table is arranged in two stages vertically and electromagnetic induction heating of an induction heating coil 6 generating a magnetic field is employed in the lower stage. If gas heating is employed in the lower stage, an upper space of 1 m or more is required because flame drifts upward and heat leaks significantly from the periphery of a pan. In case of an electromagnetic induction heating system, heat does not leaks significantly from the periphery of a pan and another cooking table can be arranged 25 cm above. When the lower stage cooking position is set closer by about 15 cm to a cook 10 than the upper stage cooking position, stuff in a pan on the lower stage can be checked easily and an article to be cooked can be thrown and mixed easily. Gas heating is employed in the upper stage because an upper space can be provided easily. When two cooking tables are arranged vertically, lateral width is halved as compared with conventional one and the installation area can be reduced. |
