<p>The form comprises a number of sections in a continuous sheet and forming a set, which are fed through a high-speed printing machine. It has an area accommodating predetermined identifying data, and another for the temporary adhesion of a set of labels, including one with an area for data identical to that which must be printed on the form. A supporting and shielding strip, placed between form and labels, is included in the label set, and the entire rear label edge is coated with strong pressure-sensitive adhesive. The adjacent front of the shielding strip has a glue-releasing surface. A coating of relatively weak adhesive material is provided between the rear face of the strip and the label area of the form, so as to hold the label set in position during passage through the printing machine, but allow easy removal when desired. The label and its shielding strip are then parted, to allow it to be fixed in position by the strong adhesive.</p> |
