<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic restarting even in the case of abnormality occurrence or a change of operation conditions by automatically resetting a telemeter device by resetting and restarting a CPU itself and a modem IC when communication abnormality is detected. SOLUTION: The telemeter device 10 monitors the communication state of the modem IC 13 by the CPU 11 and if communication abnormality occurs, it is decided that the communication by the modem IC 13 is abnormal on condition that the abnormality lasts for longer than a previously set specific certain time (decision time), thereby to generate a modem reset output MR and a CPU reset output CR. Consequently, the modem IC 13 and CPU 11 are reset and the CPU 11 re-sets communication conditions for the modem IC 13 and operation conditions for the telemeter and also restarts itself. Namely, even if communication abnormality occurs and the modem IC 13 becomes abnormal to stop communicating operation, automatically resetting is carried out to eliminate the need for manual resetting operation.</p> |
