PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical subscriber system and its monitor method that can monitor a state of an optical breaker circuit of a slave station unit. SOLUTION: The optical subscriber system consists of a master station 4 and (n) slave station units 1 (1a-1n) connected by a 1: n optical coupler 3. Each slave station unit 1 includes an optical breaker circuit 2 and a main signal unit 12. The main signal unit 12 is provided with a monitor signal conversion circuit 126, which transmits a monitor signal to a monitor signal identification circuit of the master station 4 via a monitor circuit 26 of the optical breaker circuit 2. |
