PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly fix a sound insulating plate to a pillar by a fastener without impairing workability in a soundproof wall. SOLUTION: A fastener 1 is constituted of a wave spring part 11, an engaging part 12 engaging with the projecting part 23a on the upper end face of a sound insulating plate 23, and a connecting part 13 connecting the wave spring part 11 with the engaging part 12. The side edge part of the sound insulating plate 23 is fitted into the U-shaped groove 22 of a pillar 21, the farmost part of the wave spring part 11 from the engaging part 12 is compressed in the axial direction, the compressed part is put in a gap between the side of the U-shaped groove 22 and the sound insulating plate 23, and the wave spring part 11 is pressed in the gap until the engaging part 12 is engaged with the projection part 23a of the sound insulating plate 23.
