PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always supply a predetermined amount of chemical in every operation, by providing a buffer which absorbs collision of water entering the interior of a chemical container against a solid chemical. SOLUTION: When a button 8 of a flush valve is pressed to flush water into a stool, the water flows through a float valve 2 in a main body container 1, and a float 9 is raised to close the float valve 2, whereby the amount of water flowing into the main body container is set to be always constant. The water flowing into the container makes contact with a solid chemical 5 to dissolve the same. The amount of water flowing into the stool per operation of the flush valve is almost constant, and a temporal change in the strength of water flow is repeated in a constant manner. Therefor, a process of water flowing into the main body container 1 and dissolving the solid chemical 5 into the stool is repeated in a constant manner. As a result, an almost predetermined amount of chemical can be always supplied to the stool in every operation.
