PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal properly with the flow rate of an exhaust gas flow in each section of a coating spray booth in which a vortex wet scrubber is fitted to a flow plate. SOLUTION: In the scrubber chamber of a coating spray booth 1, an appropriate number of opening parts 7a, 7b are formed on a flow plate 6 to be spread two-dimensionally in both longitudinal and width directions of the booth 1. The vortex wet scrubbers 8,... smaller than those of a necessary number in size are installed attachably/detachably in the opening parts 7a, 7b of the flow plate 6 in every section of the booth 1. Moreover, when there is an opening part in which no scrubber 8 is provided, the opening part is covered with a blind plate 9 attachably/detachably.
