PURPOSE: A shock absorber is provided to increase an attenuating force at the low and medium speed of a piston movement and to decrease the attenuating force at the high speed with an additional channel and valve plate. CONSTITUTION: A piston(140) of a shock absorber(100) frictionally slides along the inner face of an inner pipe(120) according to outer vibration and shock. On moving a piston rod(130) downward, the lower space of the piston has high pressure and oil is inlet into the upper space of the piston through an operating channel(151). The piston rod is pushed into the lower portion of the inner pipe and the oil is outlet to a storage(121) through a base valve(122) as much as the volume of the pushed piston rod. Then the oil flow resistance in this time becomes the attenuating force of the shock absorber.
