PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a process for paper jam by performing an operation from a front side having an operating portion. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a document reading device 3, an image forming portion 1 placed under this document reading device 3 spaced by a space S capable of communicating with the front side having an operating portion, a first paper discharge device 41 for discharging image formed paper to the space S under this document reading device 3, and a second paper discharge device 100 for receiving the paper transported in the paper discharge direction through a paper discharge roller 12 of this first paper discharge device 41. The second paper discharge device 100 is constituted with a lower guide member 102 constituting a transportation route and at least two guide members of an upper guide member 101, and one of them is movable so as to open the transportation route 103 in the space S.
