PURPOSE: A heat adhesive polymer film and a production method thereof are provided to have good heat adhesive property without coating a separate adhesive or laminating other adhesive resin, solve high friction coefficient of surface often occurred in the polymer film, and improve heat adhesion. CONSTITUTION: The film comprises a first polymer resin layer of polyester comprising at least 80% by weight of ethylene terephthalate as main repetition unit, a second polymer resin layer wherein polyester comprising at least 70% by weight of ethylene terephthalate-ethylene isophthalate copolymer as main repetition unit is laminated on at least one side of the first polymer resin layer, a third polymer resin of copolymerized polyester containing hydrophilic group, and coating layer wherein the mixture of water based colloidal silica is coated on the surface of the second polymer resin layer. The method comprises polymerizing dicarboxylic acid and alkylene glycol to form the first polymer resin and the second polymer resin; melt-extruding the first and second polymer resin to form non-extending sheet and biaxially extending it; and coating the surface of the second resin layer of the extended sheet with the mixture of the third polymer resin and the colloidal silica.
