PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display dislocation between a cut face and the center position of an observation object by providing a means operating center position information of the observation object, based on the concentration value of the observation object and a means synthesizing a cut image and center position information and forming a synthesized picture. SOLUTION: CPU 91 reads a three-dimensional picture (original picture) and various programs, which are stored in a magnetic disk 93, controls the constitution of a cross section image and a synthesized picture and viewpoint position correction by using a main memory 92, transfers picture data showing the constituted picture on a display memory 94 through a data transfer bus 99 and displays it on CRT 95. CPU 91 operates the center position coordinate of a blood vessel, synthesizes the cut image of the blood vessel and the center position coordinate and forms the synthesized picture. Since the cut image of the blood vessel and the center position coordinate can be referred to on the same picture, the dislocation of the cross section face and the center position of the blood vessel can be displayed on CRT 95. |
