SOLUTION: This fundus camera is provided with an infrared light transmission mirror 95 freely insertably and detachably arranged in the optical path of a photographing optical system 53 for reflecting the visible light and transmitting infrared light and an internal fixed visual mark projection optical system G for projecting the internal fixed visual mark for guiding the line of sight of the eye E to be tested through the infrared light transmission mirror 95 to the eye E to be tested. Then, an infrared transmission filter 58 and an infrared cutting filter 94 as illumination switching means switch illumination light to the infrared light linked with the insertion to the optical path of the infrared light transmission mirror 95 and switch the illumination light to the visible light linked with the detachment from the optical path of the infrared light transmission mirror 95.
