PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a large volume of document data on the most optimal types of sheet by previously setting parameters indicative the properties of each applicable sheet, comparing the parameters with the content of individual document data and determining the type of sheet for printing the document. SOLUTION: Decision values of m, p being employed in a decision logic are defined as sheet type parameter values 15 being incorporated in a sheet type decision section 13. A document structure parameter value acquiring section 12 analyzes the content of each document data and writes the values m, p of the document data (i) as document structure parameter values 14 into a buffer. The decision section 13 delivers a sheet type (y) to the printer select section 21 of a print means 2 through a decision logic. The select section 21 selects a print section 23 for the printer corresponding to the sheet type (y). On the other hand, the page image developing section 22 of the print means 2 reads out the data (i) and generates the bit map of print image which is delivered to a specified printer in the print section 23 and printed. |
