PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the forgery preventive effect while normally being hard to recognize, and at the same time, facilitate a forgery discrimination by forming a large number of punched holes to impart specified information being linearly arranged along a straight line which becomes a reference for the arrangement of a string of punched holes, as the string of punched holes for separation. SOLUTION: (a), punched holes p at locations with equal intervals impart information '0', and punched holes q at locations shifted either to the right or left side from the punched holes p, e.g. at locations shifted to the right side, impart information of '1'. Also, a string of punched holes under another performing configuration (b), imparts information in such a manner that a wider interval w between punched holes is '1', and a narrower interval n is '0'. These strings of punched holes do not present a sense of incongruity as normal punched holes for separation as long as a difference amount for the intervals between punched holes is kept small, and in addition, by imparting a delicate shift, the forgery/alteration preventive effect can be increased. Also, when an easily stretchable base material such as paper is used, the configuration shown under (b) is preferable. |
