Automatic cleaning for electrification unit of laser printer, controls cleaning according to amount of copies made and humidity and temperature of imaging unit

Electrification time of unit is measured from last cleaning time, by counting (4) number of copies to be made. Controller determines if there is paper (100) at imaging station. If there is no paper, electrification unit (11) is cleaned after specific electrification time is reached. Cleaning unit (12) has cleaning pillows (12b) to clean corona wires at same time. Number of cleaning times is also counted.
