PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the reducing of noise generated by a fan remarkably. SOLUTION: A cooling device 1 is attached to the ceiling unit A of a working room WR to supply cold air. In this case, the cooling device is provided with a cooling unit 2, accommodating a cooler 6, a fan 7 and the like and equipped with a suction port 8 for sucking air from the working room, a hollow silencer box body 4, whose both ends are opened and one end opening of the same is attached to the cooling unit so as to be communicated with the same, and a fabric-made sock duct 3, hang down from the ceiling unit and whose one end is communicated with the other end opening of the silencer box body while the other end is closed, to suck air through the suction port by a fan to exchange heat in the cooler and, thereafter, send out the air into the sock duct through the silecer box body and supply the air into the working room from the sock duct. |
