摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a hollow fiber membrane through the whole length even in long mounting span by providing a pair of end part water collecting parts and an intermediate water collecting part arranged between the end part water collecting parts and connecting plural hollow fiber membranes each having opened both ends to the water collecting parts adjacent to each other in parallel. SOLUTION: Plural hollow fiber membranes 14 are vertically separated and connected between the water collecting parts 11-13 adjacent to each other, that is between one side of the end part water collecting part 11 and the intermediate water collecting part 13, and another side of the end part water collecting part 12 and the intermediate water collecting part 13 to constitute a hollow fiber membrane unit 10. The upper end of each of water collecting parts 11-13 is respectively connected to a treated water take-out pipe 16 branched to 3 ways through a coupling 15 and a suction device 17 is connected thereto. As a result, because the length of each hollow fiber membrane 14 connecting to each water collecting part 11-13 is decreased even if the mounting span of the hollow fiber membrane unit 10 is long, the resistance loss in the hollow fiber membrane 14 is reduced and the hollow fiber membrane 14 is effectively utilized through the whole length.
