The present invention relates to a parallax barrier of an improved gradient pattern and a stereoscopic image display device using the same and provides the parallax barrier of the improved gradient pattern and the stereoscopic image display device using the same which forms a multi-view stereoscopic image while improving the brightness of an image and minimizes that horizontal resolution decreases than vertical resolution. If the present invention is applied to the stereoscopic image display device, a stereoscopic image is formed at various views without the degradation of resolution and the brightness of an output image is improved by minimizing that the horizontal resolution decreases than the vertical resolution. The present invention helps a user enjoy a comfortable stereoscopic image without sight disturbance.
